The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer and working in partnership with the Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Committee, the Head of Corporate Communications will develop and execute a global, integrated communications strategy for Digital Asset, for both internal and external audiences.

Success in this Role

  • Creates an annual strategic communications plan across multiple channels aligned with DA’s business strategy.
  • Assists with the development of programs for existing and prospective clients, including client forums, roundtables and regional events.
  • Increases DA’s high-profile media placements and manages all media campaigns. Builds ongoing relationships with key financial and technical media outlets, editors, and journalists. Coordinates media interviews for online, print and television.
  • Manages the entire public profile for the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Vets and oversees DA’s weekly speaking engagements. Prepares talking points, presentations and speeches for the Chief Executive Officer and other senior executives who represent DA publicly.
  • Manages crises communication to mitigate negative news events and coverage.
  • Serves as DA’s media point-person and lead spokesperson, managing all external inquiries and writing all press releases.
  • Builds DA’s social media presence, including LinkedIn and Twitter, and helps update content for website where necessary.
  • Works in tandem with the CMO to increase technical marketing outreach for recruiting and educational purposes.
  • Collaborates internally across functions to ensure a consistent external identity and message.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated experience building a best-in-class corporate communications function, with a strong knowledge of financial services.
  • Record of developing relationships with top-tier financial journalists and technical publications achieving high level media placements.
  • Maturity of judgment is essential.
  • Enthusiasm for and ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting environment with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills—and confidence to work well with strong and experienced colleagues.
