Chaloner has partnered with an international disruptor food brand on their search for a Manager, Corporate Affairs. The Manager, Corporate Affairs will partner with senior leaders to drive global visibility and awareness for the company. This role will take part in shaping big ideas while executing tactically on a wide variety of communications programs.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Utilize background and skills to develop and execute corporate communications initiatives, identifying key issues and opportunities for the company
  • Create a comprehensive communications strategy while also developing and executing the tactical components to ensure achievement of all communications goals
  • Serve as point of contact with the corporate and financial media by responding to inquiries and partnering with internal stakeholders; Lead the identification, development and placement of corporate stories in business and financial media (print, broadcast, digital, etc).
  • Play a key role in vetting media opportunities and fielding and assessing media requests for the company on corporate and financial initiatives
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company’s corporate story
  • Manage creation of all corporate communications collateral
  • Support Internal Communications with strategy and execution of corporate updates and support rollout and update of key internal documents
  • Lead the development and submission to key industry awards
  • Support the communications team in crisis management and preparedness
  • Perform other duties as necessary

The requirements of this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field
  • 5-7 years of media relations experience within a high-growth and fast-paced environment; Agency experience preferred
  • Must have media contacts in business and financial media
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships
  • Proven ability to exercise confidentiality around sensitive information
