Chaloner has partnered with a strategic communications company on their search for a Vice President in its Washington, D.C. office. If you are a self-directed leader with a passion for communications and a desire to work on interesting projects with great people, we want to hear from you.

This leadership role will work with our client’s Partner in Washington, DC in both staff and account team management, as well as business development with a particular emphasis on issues management and public affairs. Successful candidates should have a keen desire to work with cross-functional teams from across our client’s offices to expand their ‘footprint in the Washington, D.C. region.

Qualifications include:

  • 10 years’ experience professional communications experience in a public relations agency, public policy or related field
  • 6-8 years’ experience focused on managing successful corporate, marketing, and issues-based communications campaigns
  • A proven track record in organic growth and new business development
  • Advanced skills in both traditional media relations as well as digital advocacy and social media engagement
  • Experience in staff and account team management and professional development.
