Chaloner has partnered with a leading national consulting and strategic communications firm to fill the position of Executive Vice President in their New York office. S/he will lead the firm’s growing Philanthropy practice and help their clients meet a wide range of campaign and communications goals in an ever changing media environment. You will work directly with the Managing Director of the National Public Affairs division and be a part of the Senior Staff team, helping to set the direction of the firm.

This position offers a unique opportunity to play a senior leadership role in a dynamic growing firm and expand a PR practice serving a diverse set of high-profile, progressive clients in the philanthropy and issue advocacy arenas. The client base includes leading national non-profit institutions focused on the areas of criminal justice reform, racial justice, LGBTQ, urban innovation and community development, social impact and human rights.

This position requires 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic communications and campaigns dealing with the public interest sector. An EVP’s responsibilities encompass not only driving new client growth, but also cultivating strategic partnerships with high profile clients, effectively managing a strong team of 20 professionals, and maintaining and growing the P&L for your practice area.

  • Understanding of and experience with consulting agency business model

  • Understanding of the philanthropy and issue advocacy campaign spaces
