Thank you, Ted

Over the past thirty-five years, Ted Chaloner built this company from a one-man shop into a well-respected leader in nationwide communications, public relations and marketing executive search. We now congratulate Ted on his retirement and look forward to our future.

In his career, Ted offered top-level counsel to hundreds of client companies and thoughtful guidance to countless jobseekers. Always mindful of those who are following behind him, Ted made time to work with college students at Emerson, and support his alma mater, Grace Church School in New York City. Ted maintains a firm commitment to doing good and giving generously. This led him to launch The Good Ideas Fund many years ago, which worked in local communities to support good ideas by individuals. He was an active board member of Drop In & Decorate: Cookies for Donation, a program that sought to benefit a local domestic violence shelter. Ted instilled this dedication to philanthropy and volunteering into the fabric of our company, informing us of opportunities to serve, and facilitating Kiva loans every month. Chaloner will continue to pay it forward through our current involvement with Step Up Women’s Network, supporting the arts in the Boston community and an overall commitment to goodwill.

Those of us who have had the privilege of working closely with Ted, know that his legacy is not just made up of an intimate knowledge of the industry and polished communication skills. It is in his willingness to listen and offer sound advice, his sense of humor, his creativity and spirit of adventure, and his thoughtfulness. We wish Ted all the best as he enters this new season and thank him wholeheartedly for all that he has taught us.

I, personally, want to say a heartfelt thank you to Ted for providing unwavering guidance and mentoring throughout the 14 years we have worked together. It is my greatest privilege to date, and I am looking forward to leading the company with the same appreciation for the business, respect for others and commitment to excellence that he has shown us.

We look forward to an exciting time ahead for Chaloner. We have a great foundation that we will continue to build upon with an experienced and trusted team. We have exciting plans for continued growth, built upon the pillars of our signature best-in-class client service, deep-rooted relationships and network, and our continued ability to attract and provide the top talent in the market.

Happy Adventures to you, Ted. You deserve them!
