The Art of Finding Talent

  • Posted by: Chaloner

I recently came across a quote that really resonates with me: “It is not possible to manufacture talent – you have to recruit it in the first place.”

At Chaloner, we have a long and respected history of being laser focused on finding and vetting the best talent for our clients and creating long-term, mutually rewarding relationships. There are certainly a set of criteria and a process we follow, but recruiting, in truth, is truly a mix of art and science. It requires being deliberate, creative, disciplined, flexible, thoughtful, and open minded. What drives us and brings us the greatest satisfaction is when we scout a talented professional who is just right for the role and organization, and then help forge that new relationship. It doesn’t get any better.

So, on this topic of finding talent, I am delighted to announce the newest member to join our team, Norine Shults, who is a Vice President and the lead for Chaloner’s Boston office.

Norine brings 30 years of experience in communications and PR and a deep knowledge and understanding of the skills and personality traits required to thrive and succeed. She also understands the needs of agencies and corporate clients, which I believe is a winning combination.

Norine comes to us from Fidelity Investments where she spent 10 years creating and executing senior executive and internal/employee engagement communications programs. Prior to being on the in-house corporate side, she was in client service roles at a number of agencies in Boston and New York, including Brodeur Partners and Burson-Marsteller.

I do hope you have an opportunity to meet Norine soon. We are thrilled to have her!

You can learn more about Norine on our Team page.
